Hamburger Sparkasse
Branch Design
Branch 4.0 – Modernizing Germany’s largest savings bank for the digital age. The newest iteration of Hamburger Sparkasse branches reimagines the bank’s physical presence for the digital era, translating its omni-channel strategy into a cohesive, customer-focused environment. At the heart of the design is the principle of regionality: each branch reflects its local community through design and activities, while offering a contemporary, welcoming space for visitors. The concept balances functional clarity, integrated digital tools, and atmospheres that support both personal consultation and self-service interaction.
In this project, I was responsible for furniture design and supported the development of the overall spatial concept. Through concept development, visualization, and detailed design, I helped ensure that each branch not only functions efficiently but also delivers a meaningful and emotionally engaging customer experience.
